Job Profile: Empanelment of Advocates, Delhi Technological University
About DTU
Delhi Technological University is an autonomous body established by Delhi Act 6 of 2009, Govt. of NCT of Delhi. The Delhi Technological University intends to empanel advocates for rendering legal opinion and contesting case in various courts (High Court, District Court, CAT, Labour Court etc.) under the jurisdiction of Delhi and Hon’ble Supreme Court of India.
Applications are invited from the Advocates having experience in civil/ labour/ service matters/ consumer grievances etc. in any court/tribunal.
The scheme regarding empanelment of Advocates, applications formate and prescribed applications formate may be downloaded from DTU website www.dtu.ac.in , duly filled applications along with self-attested copies of certificates in support of educational qualifications, Bar Council Registration certificate, experience, passport size photograph should reach to:
The Assistant Registrar (Legal), Room No.202, First Floor, Admin Block, Delhi Technological University, Shahbad Daulatpur, Bawana Road, Delhi-110042 on or before 15.05.2023 at 5.00 PM.
Qualification
Bachelor degree in Law from a recognised university and registration with Bar Council Delhi.
Experience required for High Court & Central Administrative Tribunal
i) Professional experience of atleast 5 years in handling Govt. Department cases (Writ petitions/appeals) in High Courts and Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT).
ii) Applicant must possess sound working knowledge on procedures of High Courts, Central Administrative Tribunal, Services Matters, Labour Court and must have good communication skills and good knowledge of law.
Experience required for District and Subordinate Courts
i) Professional experience of atleast 4 years in the High Courts or District Courts.
ii) Applicant must possess sound working knowledge on procedures of District Courts, Consumer Forums, Labour Courts and Services Matters and must have good communication skills and good knowledge of law.
Mode of Selection
The mode of selection will be interaction by the Selection Committee.
